HISTORY
Alfajores are a delicious, daily ritual for many people in Latin America. Pronounced Al-fa-ho-res, these delectable delights are enjoyed any time of day and served best with good company.
The alfajor is traditionally a biscuit sandwich filled with Dulce de Leche (milk caramel) and then covered with chocolate or powdered sugar. You can find alfajores with shredded coconut, dark chocolate, peanuts, fruit, and a variety of other fillings and toppings.
The alfajores we make at CHRISTTINE are uniquely delicious. Using only the highest-quality organic, kosher ingredients, we also manufacture our own Dulce de Leche, and have crafted a unique alfajor with a taste you cannot find anywhere else.
Bon-Bons
HISTORY
The name bonbons (or bon-bons) has its origins from the French word "bon", which means "good". Put a "bon" and a "bon" together and you've got something doubly good - a good goody!
Bon bons have become a more general term for "candy" in European countries.
Traditional Bon bons are a sweet confection covered with a thin layer of chocolate. Our Bon bons are filled with luxuriously smooth dulce de leche that melts in your mouth. Watch out!

Dulce de Leche
HISTORY
Originating in Argentina, Dulce de Leche has long been one of Latin America's favorite treats, and is now being enjoyed all over the world. Dulce de Leche is also referred to as manjar, manjar blanco, require, or cajeta.
Making traditional Dulce de Leche is fairly straightforward; milk is slowly heated with sugar, then gently stirred until it thickens to a consistency similar to caramel. However, the control you can achieve over its consistency is what makes Dulce de Leche such a versatile product. It can be used as a filling for puff pastries, a topping for cakes, to flavor ice-cream, on pancakes, as a dip for fruit, on bread, in coffee, and of course, it sits perfectly in alfajores. Dulce de Leche truly tastes great on just about everything!
